  • A People’s Brotherhood Program started by Dr. Prakash Baba Amte revolutionize The Madia Gond Tribe. The Madia Gond is a primitive tribe inhabiting the Dandakaranya forests in the Central Eastern part of Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. A phenomenal race, the tribes have been in existence for centuries. However, this gentle race was completely cut-off from civilization, knowing no clothing, education or health care until Lok Biradari Prakalp was established.

    Largest National Park Tadoba

  • Tadoba National Park spreads over 120 sq km, which is at an altitude of 200m. It is located 150 km south of Nagpur and 45 km north of Chandrapur. It is the oldest national park in Maharashtra. Tadoba National Park comes under Project Tiger reserve since 1993. The name of this national park is derived from the name of a local God “Taru”. According to the legends, the supreme Taru was killed in an epic fight with a tiger. The national park is called ‘The Jewel of Vidarbha’, as it is a heaven for wildlife enthusiasts. The main attraction is its jungle safari. Covering an area of over 650 kilometres, the Tadoba National Park is a picturesque place to visit for the nature lovers. The king of the jungle, the bears, the leopards inspire awe of any nature lover. Stunning wildlife, fabulous flora and fauna, and supreme natural beauty make this place a mind blowing tourist destination. The wildlife lovers spend the best time of their life here. It is such a nice place to visit that many people refer it the heaven of jungle
