Pench is located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh, bordering Maharashtra .In the district of Seoni and Chhindwara. Located in the lower southern reaches of the satpuda hills are named after Pench River. Over 1200 species of plant have been recorded from the area including sever rare and endangered plants as well as plants of ethno botanical importance.
Over the years animals of Pench have become bolder & more confident, making the park excellent for wildlife viewing and photography.
The area has always been rich in wildlife. Wild animals to spot are the tiger, Gaur, Chital, Chinkara, Barking deer sambar, wild boar, sloth bear, hyena, jackal and wild dog.
