Ranthambore National park is situated in Eastern Rajasthan, where the Aravali Hill ranges and the Vindhyan plateau meet. The park was once the hunting ground of Maharaja of Jaipur. The River Chambal in the south and Banas in the North bound the Ranthambore National Park. Attraction: Ranthambore wild life sanctuary today offers an intense diversity of flora and fauna. It is one of the best Tiger place in the country. Apart from that Leopard, large numbers of Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, wild boars and astonishing variety of birds with large number of Marsh Crocodiles.
